Wedding Packages

Tawharanui Lodge offers very attractive inclusive wedding packages to tailor your day and your menu to your requirements catering for all dietary and cultural requirements.

We have a minimum of 40 guests and a maximum of 100 and self-catering is unavailable.

Venue Hire is $3995 including:

    - Ceremony​

- Arch, ceremony benches, tableware, table, chairs, linen napkins, selection of decorations & outdoor furniture

- Set up and pack down

- Staff

- Sound system & microphone

- Wedding coordinator on the day

- List of recommended vendors (celebrant, photographers, florists, hair & makeup artists, wedding cakes)

Breakfast - $25pp
We have breakfast available for guests staying the night of the wedding and for those who wish to return the next day.
Continental breakfast & full cooked breakfast including bacon, eggs, kransky, hash browns, coffee, tea & juice.
 
Gourmet BBQ Package
​$105pp / ($165pp including all inclusive 4hr drinks package.)

Alcohol including a selection of local and imported beer, punch, a selection of NZ sauvignon blanc, chardonnay, pinot gris, rose, pinot noir and french sparkling & non-alcoholic beverages.

The drinks package can be extended at $15pp per hour.
Alternatively you may wish to run a cash bar or tab. We are flexible with these arrangements and can discuss the best option that may suit you.

• Smoked salmon, chive cream, capers or Roast beef, horseradish on mini toasts

• Spiced meatballs. BBQ hoisin sauce, sesame.

• Classic kiwi creamy slaw

Winter Elopement Package

Our winter elopement package is perfect for couples looking for a small intimate wedding. This package is available June – September 2025 and caters up to 14 guests.
Minimum spend $2750.

Venue Hire includes: ($650)

    - Ceremony

• Post ceremony glass of bubbles, grazing platters, dinner (served family style), dessert, accommodation on the wedding night, fully licensed bar (no BYO), continental breakfast on the following morning. Wedding cake is not included.

Dinner Package ($99 per person)

• Grazing platter (house smoked salmon, selection of cured meats, cheeses, crackers)

• Bacon wrapped chicken thighs, cranberry stuffing and your choice

  from Scotch fillet slow roasted over charcoal, or mediterranean spit roasted lamb 

• Dinner rolls, crispy roast potatoes & seasonal green salad

• A choice of either broccoli & cauliflower cheese, pangrattato topping OR warm orzo pasta salad, roasted orange kumara, red capsicum, spinach, pinenuts, lemon & herb dressing.

• Dessert, choose either between decadent chocolate brownie or apple and blackberry shortcake, both served with French vanilla ice cream.

Short & Sweet Wedding Package

Our short and sweet wedding package consists of a ceremony, canape style reception including drinks. This package is only available between October 2024 – January 2025, 1pm – 5pm & for up to 100 guests.
Minimum spend of $4500.

• Arch, ceremony benches & outdoor furniture

• Set up and pack down

• Staff

• Sound system & microphone

• Wedding co-ordinator on the day

• List of recommended vendors (celebrant, photographers, florists, hair & makeup artists, wedding cakes)
   

Canape style reception including drinks - $79pp (choose five canapes plus a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages up to $40pp)

• Smoked salmon, chive cream, caper or roast beef with horseradish on mini toasts

• Spiced meatballs coated in a BBQ hoisin sesame sauce

• Fish goujons and tartare sauce

• Flat bread, Caramalised red onion and feta 

• Thai prawn cakes with dipping sauce
